>_ The process, no mystery

How we actually build it.

Written for the healthy skeptic. If custom software sounds too cheap, too fast, or too good to be real, good. Read on. Here is exactly how a YOURS build works, start to finish, and why you carry none of the risk.

Weeks, not monthsTypical turnaround
From a few hundred $One build fee, no subscription
You own every lineCode + data, in your name
Fixed after sign-offThe number can't creep on you
>_ Fair questions

You've been burned before. Let's clear the air.

The doubts are reasonable. Here are the ones we hear most, answered straight.

This sounds too cheap. What's the catch?
No catch. We build lean with the newest technology and a small, senior team, so we skip the bloated overhead a traditional agency bakes into every invoice. You get agency-grade work without the agency-grade price. The fee is quoted up front and fixed once the spec is signed.
Will it actually get finished?
We've shipped real, running software for real businesses (a few are below). You get a clear timeline, milestone check-ins, and a working prototype you can click through at every stage, not a promise and a silence.
What if you vanish halfway?
You own everything from day one. The code lives in a repository in your name, on your accounts. Any developer on earth can pick it up. You're never trapped with us, which is exactly how we like it.
Custom software is for big companies with big budgets.
Not anymore. The whole point of YOURS is custom software priced for a sparky, a salon, a single clinic. If a spreadsheet and three apps are holding your business together, we can replace the lot for a one-off fee.
How can it be any good if it's built so fast?
Fast isn't rushed. Modern tools handle the repetitive work at speed and consistency, while experienced developers own the parts that matter (architecture, security, the tricky logic) with senior review on everything that ships. Quick and solid, not quick and dirty.
I got burned by a developer last time.
Common, and fair. That's why the price is fixed after a signed spec, you pay in milestones, and you see working software the whole way. If we discover the job is bigger than we scoped, that's on us, not you.
>_ Start to finish

Six steps. Nothing hidden.

Every stage hands you something real and a chance to change course. No black box, no big reveal at the end.

01

Discover

We learn how your business actually runs. How a job flows start to finish, what's slow, what keeps breaking, what you'd never give up. No jargon, just a proper conversation about the work.
You get a shared, plain-English picture of what to build
02

Scope & fix the price

We write a functional specification that pins down every screen, workflow, rule, report, permission level, integration and edge case we can think of. You read it and sign it. From that moment the price is locked. New scope is quoted separately and only with your say-so. "We discovered it was bigger" is our problem to wear, not yours. The tighter the spec, the more meaningful the fixed price, so this is where we spend the care.
You get a signed spec and a fixed price
03

Design & prototype

We turn the spec into clickable prototypes you can actually use, before a line of production code is written. You tap through it, tell us what's off, we adjust. Nothing gets baked in that doesn't suit the way you work.
You get a prototype you can click through
04

Build, out in the open

We build in your own client portal. Each milestone ships working software you can log into and comment on. You watch it come together and steer the whole way. No surprises, no "trust us, it's coming".
You get working software early and often
05

Launch & hand over

We migrate your data (carefully, in passes, checked against the old system), train your team with written and video guides, and hand over the keys: the code, the accounts, the docs, the lot. Everything ends up in your name.
You get a live system and full ownership
06

Look after you

Launch isn't the end of the road. Bugs in what we delivered are fixed free for 60 days, and we stick around on a simple care plan for changes whenever you need them. Or take the keys and run it yourself. Genuinely your call.
You get a team on speed dial, and zero lock-in
>_ You own the lot, not a login

"You own it" isn't a slogan. It's a checklist.

Every account is created in your business's name from day one. We're added as a collaborator you can remove at any time. Here's the actual list.

The source code
A Git repository in your GitHub. You're the owner, we're collaborators.
The hosting
A Vercel project on your account. It auto-deploys your repo.
The database, logins & files
A Supabase project on your account. Your data, your users, your config.
The domain & business email
Registered to you. Email on your own Google Workspace.
Payments & every third-party key
Stripe and any other service in your name, billed to you, money to your bank.
No proprietary anything
Standard, popular tools any developer knows. Nothing you can only run through us.

If we vanished tomorrow, you'd add another developer as a collaborator and carry on the same day. There is nothing of ours to untangle, because none of it is ours.

>_ Built to be handed over

Owning the code only counts if the next dev can use it.

So every build is engineered to a standard, not just working on launch day. This is what makes "you own it" actually mean something.

A written README
What it is, how to run it locally, how to deploy. No tribal knowledge.
Automatic deploys (CI/CD)
Push a change and it ships itself, via GitHub Actions. No manual server poking.
Version-controlled database migrations
Every schema change is scripted in Git and reproducible, never hand-typed into production.
Secrets kept safe
Keys live in secure environment variables, never hard-coded into the code.
Automated backups & instant rewind
Daily backups with point-in-time recovery (Supabase's ~$20/mo tier), so a bad day is a five-minute rewind.
Tests on what must not break
Automated tests on payments, bookings and permissions, plus a full handover pack: architecture, schema, API docs, setup guide.

Hand it to any competent developer and they'll be productive the same day. That's the whole test of real ownership, and we build to pass it.

>_ We've done this before

Real software, running in real businesses.

Not mock-ups or maybes. Systems people log into every day to run their work.

>_ It's not just a name we liked

Y.O.U.R.S. The whole deal, spelled out.

Five letters, five promises. If we drop any one of them, we're doing it wrong.

Y
You own it. Outright.
Every line of code, all your data, every account, in your name from day one. No lock-in, no licence, no "our platform". If we ever part ways, the whole thing walks out the door with you.
O
One fair price.
A single build fee, quoted up front and fixed once the spec is signed. No per-seat billing, no compulsory subscriptions, no meter running in the background. You know the number before we start.
U
Understands your business.
Built around how you actually work, not a template you have to bend yourself to fit. We learn the real flow of your business first, then shape the software to it.
R
Rapid to deliver.
Weeks, not months. Modern tooling lets a small senior team move fast, and you see working software early and steer as we go, so it's built quickly and built right.
S
Sticks around.
We don't ship it and ghost. Bugs fixed free for 60 days, changes and support whenever you need them, and a team who still answers when you email. Or take the keys and go it alone. Your choice, always.
>_ Support, priced in daylight

What happens after launch, and what it costs.

No mystery invoices, no mandatory retainer. Here's exactly what support costs once you're live.

Warranty
Free · 60 days
Anything we built that doesn't match the signed spec is fixed free for 60 days after go-live. That's a bug, and bugs are on us.
Care plan · optional
$20/month
Small fixes and little tweaks as they pop up, covered, even ones that weren't in the original scope. We already know your system, so it's the easy button.
Pay as you go
$100 / $200
No plan? Pay only when something comes up. $100 for a non-urgent fix (2 to 5 days), $200 for an urgent one (typically within about 3 hours). Flat per fix, not per hour.

✓ A bug (free in warranty)

Something we delivered doesn't work the way the signed spec says it should. Our mistake, our problem, no charge.

→ A change request (quoted)

New functionality, or a change to what the spec agreed. Genuinely new work, quoted up front so there's never a surprise on an invoice.

The care plan is optional. Your software runs whether you're on it or not. It's a discount on help, never a switch we can flip off.

>_ Under the hood

How we build so much, so fast, for so little.

The newest way of building software

We build with the latest technology and methods available, the same modern tooling and platforms the best product teams in the world now use. That's what lets a small, senior team deliver in weeks what a traditional agency would quote as a months-long project. It's not a shortcut on quality. It's a head start that we pass straight on to you as a lower price and a faster build.

And a team of developers behind it

For anything genuinely tricky, the parts most builds get wrong, there's a team of experienced software developers on it: architecture, security, data, the complex business logic, with senior review on everything that ships. Modern tools do the heavy lifting; experienced humans make the calls that matter. You get the speed and the safety net, not one or the other.

>_ Not just words on a webpage

Everything here goes in the agreement you sign.

The ownership, the fixed price, milestone payments, acceptance criteria that define "done", the 60-day warranty, and your right to walk away with the lot. It's all written into the engagement agreement, not just promised on a page like this one. Read it before you sign a thing, and hold us to it.

Still skeptical? Good.

Get a scoped price in about three minutes. No calls, no pressure, no catch.
